One Little Tidbit.....

I know I have veered off the Interior Design course a bit lately, but I had to share one little thing from our trip to Disneyland in mid-June. I discovered the Matterhorn Macaroon. I understand they are new this year in honor of the Matterhorn's 50th anniversary. Perhaps the best coconut macaroon I have ever had....then they go and make it better by covering it with white chocolate "snow" then dust it with sparkly sugar. They have these in Heaven I'm pretty sure. I took home half a dozen.
OK....back to design tomorrow....promise.

Have a Wonderful Father's Day!

We are off to the "Happiest Place on Earth" for a little graduation celebration. While we are gone, I am leaving you with one idea for a delicious Father's Day. My daughter made a beautiful Coconut Cake using THIS recipe from Ina Garten. Having something home made by the kids for their Dad....a perfect way to say "I love you!"
I am going to miss her when she's left for college....don't get me started!
Have a wonderful Father's Day Weekend!

Time for a Breather

We have headed to Southern California to do the College Tour Hop and have a little fun while we are there. Top of the Family List? Where else?
My List includes the beach (San Diego and Santa Monica) and perhaps the Getty Museum.
I had meant to post a bunch of things for you while I was gone....but I thought it was a good idea to fit in a Yard Sale yesterday before we left........ What was I thinking?!?! Between carting all of the leftovers to the Salvation Army and finishing laundry and packing....I ran out of time just a little. So I will be posting lots of good stuff when I return!
Catch you all when we get back!!!
