March Madness

The March wind roars
Like a lion in the sky,
And makes us shiver
As he passes by.

When winds are soft,
And the days are warm and clear,
Just like a gentle lamb,
Then spring is here.

May Day

All world's favorite season is the spring.
All things seem possible in May.

Spring has Sprung!

It may have felt like summer in New York last week but it definitely looked like spring! I don't remember Central Park ever looking as beautiful as it does right now so I thought I would share a few photos with you. Happy Spring!

White is Right!

Growing up, the fashion rules dictated that I could not wear white until after Easter. Usually it wasn't that warm in early spring so I'd wait until at least May to wear white. It's supposed to reach 80+ degrees in New York on Wednesday, so I'm very tempted to pull out a white dress and I'm looking to these lovely ladies in white for inspiration. I think Demi looks especially beautiful! Enjoy!

Happy Easter!

There is something about Easter that always makes me think of pastel colors. So in honor of Easter and spring, I've assembled some of my favorite candy colored rooms. Enjoy!

The Art of Spring

Now that the weather is starting to warm up and there is a touch of spring in the air, it's time to lighten up my nail polish color. My favorite light shade is Potato Fields by Essie but I am loving the new Essie Art of Spring collection. The fun shades are named after artists and styles and include Van D'Go, Neo Whimsical, Red Nouveau, Tart Deco, Pop Art Pink, and Lilacism. The highlight of New York Fashion Week for me was meeting Essie founder, Essie Weingarten backstage at the tents. I gushed about how much I love her polishes and hinted that I thought Habitually Chic would make a great polish name. She said she'd think about it so I'll be keeping my perfectly manicured fingers crossed for luck! Bon Weekend!

La Plage

All I can think about is spring and warmer weather so I was very excited when I walked onto the fourth floor at the Ralph Lauren Mansion Saturday and saw a sea of blue and white. Actually, it looked they skipped spring and went straight to summer on the French Riviera! The collection is called La Plage (The Beach) and it made me want to don a sailor shirt and some espadrilles. If you can't make it to the Mansion, then I suggest you visit the Ralph Lauren Home website for more inspiration or better yet, book a trip to Nice! Bon Voyage!
